Ian has been invited to the 2008 Young Writers' Conference in Columbia, SC on April 5, 2008. He was nominated by his third grade teacher from last year. Only a select group of students from each district in the state are invited to attend. We are excited for him and hope he can learn more about writing and enjoy meeting some published professional authors/illustrators.
We'll update after the conference to let you know how it goes.

Sleepy Boy
I was at Office Depot on Saturday for over and hour and a half making copies for the HOA's lawsuit against the developer. When I got home, this is what I found:
Harrison had fallen asleep on the floor of our computer room in a pile of blankets. He had been a grumpy bear all day that day. Little did we know how tired he was.
